My Place Care Centre was founded in 1984 by Mrs. Yap, driven by her compassion for the elderly left behind as younger generations sought opportunities elsewhere. Starting with just one patient and one helper in a rented bungalow on Jalan Woodward, Mrs. Yap envisioned a sanctuary where seniors feel at home. Over the years, My Place grew into a dedicated facility with a caring team, offering nutritious meals, exercise, and gardening activities to promote well-being.
